Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR)

If you are looking to progress your knowledge of corporate real estate globally and locally, the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) programme is an excellent place to start.

The MCR programme is specifically designed for people working in the corporate real estate industry. It sets the benchmark for the strategic management of corporate real estate.

There is nothing in Australia like the MCR that can give you the same access to global and local real estate best practice and knowledge. Professional learnings translate into improved performance for you and your organisation’s CRE.

The MCR is a great way to expand your professional network – both here and overseas. Past Australia participants cite the professional networking as a key benefit of undertaking the programme.

The MCR is not a course as such: rather, it consists of a series of 2-day seminars. There are three required seminars: focusing on CRE finance, enterprise alignment and real estate transactions. On top of this, there are two elective seminars in areas like Advanced Lease Analysis, Advanced Real Estate Negotiation, and Portfolio Management. The programme culminates in the Capstone, which when completed, gives you the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) qualification.

Seminars are held at various locations around the world, with a programme of regular seminars coming to Australia and New Zealand each year.

The MCR seminars are:

  • relevant and practical. They are industry-based with working examples of concepts from case studies

  • taught by industry experts

  • highly interactive – you share knowledge/learnings with peers in other companies and countries.

If you would like to talk to past Australian participants about their experience and the benefits they gained from doing the MCR, please contact Trish Tillard at and Trish will be able to put you in touch with them.
